NUEJOS Policies
Entry into our premises as well as completing any of our online registration forms, means that you agree and will adhere to all our general policies, highlighted below:
Age
All ages are welcome.
Children aged 0 to 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult to enter or stay at the center.
Teens aged 13 to 18 years can visit the premises alone to attend lessons or classes.
Operational Hours
Details about our opening and operational hours are available on our homepage, and should be kindly respected.
Lessons and clubs take place only during term time (January to June and August to December), every year. Term dates exclude all public holidays and kids holiday camps. There are no lessons or clubs during kids holiday camps. Details are available on our calendar page https://www.nuejos.com/calendar.html
Identification
The consumption of alcoholic beverages must be abided by the standard Swiss cantonal regulation.
You must have a valid identification card that is issued by your designated canton or government agency that contains your photograph, date of birth, sex and height. NUEJOS centre will be unable to accept forms of identification that are expired, cracked, altered or damaged in any way.
Dress Code
Appropriate attire is permitted at NUEJOS Center. We do not approve attire that exposes underwear or excessive skin proportions which may be viewed as inappropriate in a family environment.
Health & Safety
The well-being, safety and the healthy of all our guests are our first priority. The center has an emergency and prevention protocol. The staff attends a required emergency course every two years. All staff are first aid trained. We operate a hygienic concept, which is strictly adhered to. Our staff is committed to this strict Code of Conduct. Our staff also adhere to the privacy and confidentiality policy.
Play Zones
There are designated play zones for each age group, with the appropriate toys and play structures. All visitors must adhere to the appropriate play zones at all times. We owe a duty of care for the safety of all children in their respective zones. Children aged 5+ years are not allowed to play in the 0 to 4 years play zone, neither can the toys be transferred between the different play zones.
NUEJOS reserves the right to remove children from the wrong play zone areas. Should a parent wish for their young children to play in the 5+ years zone, this is at their own risk. NUEJOS will not be held liable for any accidents. Children accompanied by a carer or adult must be supervised by the carer or adult at all times.
Food / Snacks From Outside
We operate a no picnic policy which applies to everyone.
Pureed / home cooked jar foods, yoghurts and fruits are permitted for babies and toddlers.
Snacks such as breads, cakes, cookies, etc are prohibited. We have children with various allergies and in some cases quite severe, and we are liable to protect them.
Holiday Camp / Childcare / After-School Programs
Children must be 3 years and above before they can be left in our sole care during holiday camps, childcare, lessons or clubs.
Children are not allowed to bring food or snacks to the center. All children must be dropped off at and picked up from the center at all times, unless otherwise agreed , of which a signed disclaimer is required. Parents must inform us about any allergies, behavioural strategies, learning challenges / limitations or any other important information at the point of registration. Payments must be received in full to secure any camp booking.
School Bus
Parents must inform NUEJOS about the name of the relevant child, teacher, class or grade, collection time as well as share the agreed pick up or collection both with the class teacher. If there Is a delay in collecting your child for whatever reason, NUEJOS must inform the parent and teacher immediately. The child should then wait at the school office until collected. NUEJOS will not be held liable for any unforeseen accidents during transit of your child.
Customised Parties / Events
NUEJOS does not hire out rooms nor its center for private events to be organised by third parties.
NUEJOS offers a bespoke service of managing / organising and planning all aspects of parties or events from start to end.
Decorations or food brought from outside / third parties are prohibited. A holding deposit of CHF300 is required to secure any party or event reservation.
Filming / Photography
NUEJOS Center encourages all their customers to make and share memories abouttheir children and families.
However, permission is required for any filming or photography intended for commercial, social media, including journalism.
Photography or filming of other guests or staff members is prohibited.
Smoking
Smoking is forbidden anywhere on the premises, including vaporisers and electrical cigarettes.
The use of pipes, cigars, snuff or forms of chewing tobacco are prohibited.
