NUEJOS offers 16 Weeks holiday camps every year for children aged 2 to 12 years, available to its local and international community in Cantons Zug, Zurich and Luzern.

Our different camp offers cater to the interests and varied ages of your child, with the aim to learn whilst having fun. From Multi-Activity Camps to Music Theatre, Sports and more. You can register for Full. Day, Half Day, Full Week or even Selected days.  

For excursions, children travel safe from our center to planned destinations in our Children Bus, (designed with children seats). We also provide Bus collection services from central points in Cantons Luzern and Zurich to make early morning drop-offs easier.

Morning Bus Collection Service

We are pleased to offer an early morning bus collection service for your children, if required. We can meet you and your child / children at Zug, Zurich or Luzern main train stations at the following scheduled times:

Zurich Affoltern am Albis Station collection at 07:45 Hours

Luzern Train Station collection at 08:00 Hours

Multi-Activity Camp (2 - 12 Years)
Daily or Full Week Options

​​Our multi-activity camp program is packed with fun adventures, excursions and educational activities. Children build confidence, explore their creativity and form new friendships whilst learning. We spend our mornings on fun excursions, return in the afternoon for some well deserved rest, indoor play and more learning activities in our breakout age groups. Daily trips or excursions will be the same for all age groups, so that older and younger siblings can be together. However, the afternoon activities are different to suit each age group. Kindly note that our detailed program may be subject to change due to either unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions.

Chess Camp (5 - 12 years) New This Summer
Full Week Only

Our Chess Camp starts this summer, for girls and boys aged 5 to 12 years old. Children will learn how to play chess whilst building friendships as well as eight critical skills, such as; problem solving, abstract thinking, calmness under pressure, patience, sportsmanship, creative thinking, pattern recognition and strategic thinking. 

​Half of the day will be spent learning how to play chess and the other half, will be spent indoors on other different learning activities, after some well deserved break and recess time.

Sports Camp (5 - 12 years)
Full Week Only

We are pleased to offer our Multi-Sports Camp for boys and girls aged 5 to 12 years old. This program is designed to expose your children to a variety of sports with the aim to develop and broaden their skill set, whilst improving their physical and mental health. Children will be exposed to a variety of indoor and outdoor sports, which will vary with each season. Half of the day will be spent learning and playing different seasonal sports and games, the other half, will be spent indoors on different learning activities, after some well deserved break and recess time.

​Our music theatre program is a one-week camp designed to expose children to all round performance skills with a focus on building confidence in public speaking, stage presence, communication and team work, whilst discovering talent and having fun.

An opportunity for our young talents to learnt well known Disney animation movies, and will end with grand performances for parents at the end of each week.

Film-Making & Production Camp (9 - 12 years)

Our campers will learn the fundamentals of film-making and production. a program filled with creativity and expression. Campers will have the opportunity to create short films, animations and marketing commercials. In first half of the day, campers will focus on the learning and practical elements and in the afternoon, they will enjoy fun recreational activities.

Useful Information

TRANSPORTATION
We use our school bus (children fitted seats) for our daily excursions or field trips. The bus parks at the foot of our entrance. All children are guided on and off the bus at all times. Seat belts fastened by camp counsellors and bus driver. Children wear our orange reflector vests whilst out with us. 
PICK UPS / DROP OFFS
Please be prompt. Kindly arrive latest by 09:00 hours at the latest. Morning camp ends at 14:00 hours. Afternoon camp ends at 18:00 hours and Full day camp ends at 18:00 hours. ​Earlier drop offs are available at CHF5 per child per day. If required, kindly indicate this during your registration. Collection services are also available from designated point in cantons Zurich and Luzern at a charge of CHF10 per child.
ALLERGIES
We tend to have several children with various food allergies. For this reason, we ask you not to send your child to camp with any snacks. Kindly inform us on your registration forms if your child has any allergies.
THINGS TO BRING:
  • A water bottle clearly labelled.
  • Indoor socks. No indoor shoes.
  • A bag with spare clothes.
  • Appropriate clothing to suit weather conditions.
  • Any allergy medication if applicable.
CAMP MENU
Your child will be provided with a welcome breakfast from 08:30 to 09:00 hours, lunch at noon and two snack times between activities. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Once we have received your registration, we will send you an invoice for immediate payment. All registrations must be paid for in advance. Kindly note that there are no refunds. If your child has a fever, kindly keep them at home until they are at least 24 hours fever free. Submission of your booking confirms your agreement with our terms and conditions. ​
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What happens after I register?
Our accounts team will send you an invoice for payment within a few days time, to secure your camp booking. Otherwise, our Team Support will inform you if your preferred camp week is full.

​What happens after I make a payment?
Once we have received your payment by the deadline, consider your camp booking is automatically confirmed. You will not have to receive a separate email to confirm his.

​What happens next?
A few days before your commencing camp week, a detailed email will by sent to you by our Team Support to help you prepare for the week. Information such as what to bring, what not to bring, a link to the detailed camp plan (applies to sports and multi-activity camps), the menu for that week and all other important information.

​Can I cancel my camp registration?
We operate a no refund policy for any cancellations. 

Can I bring food or snacks for my child?
​No. Kindly understand that we tend to have several children with sometimes severe allergies and as children like to share, we cannot take such risks.

​Where should I drop-off and pick-up my child?
Your child should be dropped-off and picked-up from our center everyday. The address is NUEJOS Center, Sihlbruggstrasse 3a, 6340 Baar.

Can you help collect my child?
Yes. Our children's bus can collect your child from Zug, Zurich or Luzern stationed at the advised meeting points

What should I do if my child has allergies?
​All our counsellors are first aid trained. It is important that you inform us about this when you complete the camp registration form. We will then ensure that all members of our team are fully aware as well as plan meals specifically for your child. Additionally, if you have any medication, kindly provide all instructions on your camp registration form and hand them over to Natalie when you arrive, who will then discuss in detail with you.
